A surgeon with a passion for  sports and reading, Bruno Antonelli has been the mayor of Meta since June 2004. A task  that has been put before him in terms of tourism, is the organization of events and  festivals aimed at promoting the image of  this small town.

From the 16th to the 22nd of October Sorrento will host “ Flavours and Tastes of Sorrento” an event aiming at promoting the development of local economy, rich of typical products as well as natural beauty and cultural resources.The event which has been promoted by the local authority for agriculture, will last a whole week and will involve cultivators, vendors and restaurant owners in the area.
